Dakota Drift is an outstanding Driftwood performance stallion. Backed by a pedigree built upon AQHA arena legends, he has done everything you could ask of a stallion in the arena and in the breeding pasture.
An elite son of the grand rope horse sire and all-around stallion Wilywood, Dakota's genetics continue to concentrate the blood of famed South Dakota breeder Stanley Johnston in our program. His double-bred Orphan Drift, linebred three tiMes Driftwood tabulation is supported by crosses to Joe Reed II, Poco Bueno and the immortal Sugar Bars.
Dakota Drift is a handsome, standup athlete whose record in AQHA, NRHA, AND NRCHA competition has established him as a top, all-around performer. He has won championships, points and money competing as a reiner, cowhorse and big-time calf and team roper under trainers Mark Wray, Brian Fulton, K.C. Jones, Doug Clark and Lance Shockley.
This dun stallion's progeny, like their sire, are standup, attractive, sound, well made athletes that consistently express his incredible mind, disposition and ability, and include an ROM World Show Qualifier. We have daughters of this stallion in production.
A high level, versatile performer and prepotent sire, Dakota Drift will have a major impact upon our program to breed sound, good mined, all-around athletes!
AN ALL-AROUND PERFORMANCE, DRIFTWOOD STALLION!
